My Unique Approach

Established in August of 2025, Good Vibes Dog Grooming is a small home based grooming salon, Located in Tower City, Pennsylvania, where the focus is on providing a serene doggy spa experience, focused on the individual pup. No distractions or unnecessary stressors.

My commitment is to skin & coat health and the dogs overall wellness. I prioritize using the highest quality products on the market and ensuring each dog receives the highest level of care possible. Each spa day is perfectly tailored to every dogs individual needs & tolerances, starting with a head to toe pre-groom evaluation, every visit. This allows me to perfectly select their products for the day. I do not believe grooming services should be a one size fits all situation, and is not something that should be rushed. I knew from the very beginning that I wanted to operate a slower paced salon with a lot less chaos. Some dogs just do not thrive in a faster paced environment with other dogs whining, crying or barking on the table next to them. My own dogs really struggled in that type of environment, which is what eventually lead me to learning how to groom them on my own and made me fall in love with this industry. I saw a need for something different, so I brought it to life. I go at every dog's pace and level of comfortability, which means if they are nervous or scared for any particular part of the grooming process, I will take things slower in that department or tailor my grooming techniques to meet them where they're at and where they're comfortable. Cosmetic perfection is not my main goal. I am a pet groomer, not a show dog groomer.

Safety & comfort come before all else. Good Vibes is a kennel free salon, with only ONE dog in the salon at all times. I do not take walk ins and services are by appointment only. Tools & equipment are cleaned & sanitized after every dog and I purposely operate as a lower volume salon with properly spaced out appointments to allow this all to be possible. I typically only accept 3-5 dogs a day. I do require a schedule of 12 weeks or less for every dog on my permanent schedule and do not take on random clients, even when I have cancellations. This allows me to build & maintain a relationship & sense of trust with every dog on my table. I firmly believe this is the very best way to keep your dog as comfortable as possible in the salon and allowing your dog to form a close relationship with their groomer will set them up for lifelong grooming success. It also keeps me patient, grounded, understanding & loving my job when I get to work with the same dogs (and pet parents) over and over again. We become like family, and I just absolutely love it. Energy is everything in this industry and it's important that I'm able to be my best self during every grooming appointment. This starts with setting boundaries, limitations & being selective about my clientele.

My name is Angela (you can call me Ang), and I'm a 34 year old homeschooling mom to an 11 year old daughter that also aspires to be a groomer one day. We hope that eventually, we'll run this business together, while still offering private & peaceful spa days, which will at some point come with the need to expand our space. She does help me out with cleaning and small tasks in the salon from time to time, and often pops in to love on the dogs before they leave or help to keep them calm if they are anxious. I'm a wife of 13 years, a patient & passionate dog mom of SIX and also own & operate a well known photography business in my area that has been in operation for 11 years. I operate both businesses on a part time schedule, but I work full time between both jobs. Being able to do the things that bring me the most joy is such a dream come true. I used to work at a zoo years ago, and have had a huge passion for caring for animals since I was just a little girl. I guess you could say that working with animals just comes natural to me, and I've certainly passed that on to my daughter too.

If you are looking for a unique luxury grooming experience for your pup, one where they feel safe, at peace & comfortable enough to fall asleep on the grooming table (which does happen), I'd love to chat! I am certified & insured, which is not a requirement by law, so please be careful who you're trusting with your fur babies. I have my certifications proudly displayed right inside the entrance of my salon. I hold myself to the highest standards when it comes to being a service provider and I set clear boundaries, firm policies and consistent expectations with my clients. I hope that's something you'll love and appreciate about me.
